Interim Sales Executive

Situation: 15 Independant Sales Representatives nationwide were suffering from lack of focus and leadership. Company at risk of floundering. No pipeline management, no sales training or mentoring, no strategic direction or goals being set. Lack of focus on unique selling proposition and marketing messages.

Problem: Took over leadership of this sales organization and immediately pulled all reps into an "all hands" kickoff and training meeting. Used GAP analysis technique to determine problem areas, gained feedback from all stakeholders, designed a training program to correct deficiencies and get sales back on track. Developed performance plans, incentive program, and recruited and trained the best.

Action Taken:  A sudden vacancy in Sales Management required quick action to avoid a disastrous drop in sales revenue. There was no time to recruit and hire a new VP of Sales, an immediate solution was needed.

Results: Company finished the year over 30% above previous years results and setting an all-time company record for number of orders closed. Morale extremely high, customers happy, company founders pleased and the organization was poised for dramatic success heading into the new fiscal year.
